While I am a socialist and stand for the movement I find Zohran Mamdani to
be questionable. The main reason is when something is too good to be true
it likely isn't true. A young and outgoing open socialist just
democratically won an electron in a large city in the US with plans of
fixing it up and making it affordable. Does that sound too good to be
true? As a pessimist I think so.

I am going to get shit for this but here we go...
As my non-existent readers may know I have my doubts toward organized
religion when it comes to good things happening. I am doubtful toward
serious followers of organized religion who claim to be socially
progressive. Like come on, how the fuck is your church that teaches gay
people go to hell simply for existing compatible with progressive ideas?
Are you fucking stuppa?! Go watch one of those gay mormon documentaries and
see for yourself. They have to spend their entire life's staging a loveless
marriage to stay out of hell or whatever lower kingdom they go to these
days. They can't even call themselves gay and instead say "same sex
attraction" like it's a medical condition. This is just one example and the
list goes on and on... Take how some muslims treat women as another
example.
No religion is immune to this and any religion that engages in it should
not be put up with. Doesn't matter if they been discriminated against
before. That does not give them to free pass to bigotry. We should not put
up with jews drone striking women and children even though nazi's committed
a few war crimes against them. We should not put up with muslims murdering
gays, taking away religious freedom, and treating women like cattle just
because jews drone strike them. Christians are easy to speak out against
because they harm everyone but nearly no one does the same to them though
that doesn't mean they are the only harmful religion.
Just because something is normal does not mean it is ok. Religion tends to
normalize bad things. The idea behind being progressive is to push away
from those bad things even if they are normal. Among progressive
liberals is a movement of celebrating religion and culture which isn't
white christian capitalist world domination, which seems based until it's
exposed they aren't the only shitbags. They are simply the ones who got to
the top. Many other religions and cultures are pretty much the same except
they lost though progressive liberals celebrate those who lost to
the big bad guy even if they themselves are a bad guy. Instead they should
push for positive change. Though I guess it's at least better than playing
devils advocate and full on embracing bigotry (looks at conservatives).

A little history. The nazi's were a bunch of christians. Christians believe
a dude named jesus told everyone to love each other even if they are
different. Christians hate everyone who doesn't believe in jesus, they hate
everyone who believes in jesus in a different way they do, they hate
everyone who shows love toward jesus in a different way... Quite ironic
indeed.
Well christians hate jews because they didn't accept jesus and said
he is a fraud and faker like joseph smith. Well one day nazi's thought "why
don't we erase jews from existence since they don't believe in
jesus?". The nazi's got defeated (due to practical not ethical reasons) and
the jews gained the bigotry pass. By recycling ideas from their own
oppressor they create zionism (also known as jewish nazism).
Their bigotry pass gained from discrimination made their form of nazism
socially acceptable and with this they went to the most powerful nations in
the world and said "c-can u pleaz take over israel for us after brutally
wiping out the non-jewish population in a mass planned genocide?". The
powerful nations couldn't resist their puppy eyes and did just that and
continue doing it to this day. In their new reclaimed homeland they
make spyware, spread propaganda, and publish rigged studies. American
liberals and conservatives alike kiss their asses all day and night
welcoming any jewish shit that gets onto their noses.
Not too long ago due to recent events many realized israel fucking
sucks. They use american money to blow the limbs off palestinian
children. Many feel bad for people in palestinian and rightfully so. There
is growing empathy for muslims. Though there is a blind spot. Many
conservatives will point out how muslims are bigots, takes one to know
one. They treat women like shit and murder the gays. A lot like post-ww2
jews, muslims have been granted the bigotry pass (in the process of) so
instead of pushing for positive change progressive liberals went
"fuck jews we are with muslims now". Slowly the process starts. Soon enough
muslims will be killing all infidels. Conservatives will keep engaging in
their granfalloon culture war while progressive liberals say
"stopping their bigotry makes you a bigot because they were discriminated
against at one point".
I guess jesus was right all along. Sadly his followers don't like him. It
doesn't matter if you believe in him or not though. Doesn't matter what
religion you believe in. Please just spread love and respect peoples
freedom. Your old book doesn't give you a free pass to hurt people plus
love is cooler anyways :D
Is Zohran Mamdani actually a progressive muslim or is he a terrorist
undercover plotting to kill every lgbtq+ person and rape every women in
new york? While the terrorist thing is possible most likely the first one
is the case if I am going to be perfectly honest. Doublethink is defined as
believing two ideas which contradict each other. It is often the only way
to be a member of an organized religion while being socially
progressive. Since those in glass houses shouldn't throw orgies consider
what I say as a constructive criticism instead of a "fuck you" toward
Zohran Mamdani. I am quite sure I have a doublethink in my head to.
Maybe I shouldn't be going too deep into a progressive liberal
wearing a socialist hat but how does a old book that lays out a heavily
conforming world view stuck in time coexist with progressive ideas?
Religion is the ball and chain to positive change. It is a conservative
force which has been the number one opponent of past progressive
movements. It tells people how to live and uses the threat of hell fire to
scare them into conformity. It tells people what role they play in society
and punishes any and all that step out of line. It owns the body and soul
of all its members and demands all those who exist join. It is its goal to
spread like the virus it is. These are the ideas that coexist alongside
progressivism inside the head of Zohran Mamdani and the invisible battle
that will take place alongside the mass change that is to come.
